Sunday Morning

Written by Jay Lewallen

Sunday Morning, let’s jump over the walls that surround us

Get on, back to the land of promise

Where the time is for nurturing our souls

Sunday Morning, yeah yeah yeah

Like a family, can’t we all get along

Face the problems, find out where we went wrong

Understanding, when we meet on the road

Goes a long way, and it helps if we show

Respect for one another, respect for one another yeah

I have a dream, every man is redeemed

It wasn’t what it seemed, Let’s begin

Let’s begin to wipe the slate clean

Sunday Morning Yeah Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning, why not try to be friends

Find some common ground, so it won’t be the end

Twenty years from now, when we’re talking aloud

Let’s remember, how it all came together

Sunday Morning Sunday Morning yeah yeah yeah

I have a dream, every man is redeemed

It wasn’t what it seemed, Let’s begin

Let’s begin to wipe the slate clean

Sunday Morning Yeah Sunday Morning

Come together Sunday Morning
