SERIOUS CASE

I’m a serious case no doubt, My therapist shook her head

Ain’t no help for you boy, And so I said

I want to thank you, For putting me straight

I want to thank you, But it’s a little too late

Good advice is hard to find, Don’t tell me what I already know

If I catch you dancing around the truth, I’ll dance too nice and slow

I want to thank you, For putting me straight

I want to thank you, But it’s a little too late

She handed me the road map, She told me where to get off

She pointed towards the front door, And said “why don’t you go get lost”

I want to thank you, For putting me straight

I want to thank you, But it’s a little too late

Now it’s a hard luck story, That I sing about

As you can see love’s affected me, And I’m a Serious Case no doubt

I want to thank you, For putting me straight

i want to thank you, But it’s a little too late

Too late, It’s a Serious Case

Too late, It’s a Serious Case
