Gentle is the cool breeze

On a warm summer night

Clear views and misty hues

Sparkle in the moonlight

 

Blue Ridge mountains like a dream

Timeless mountains lush and green

 

Blowing Rock North Carolina

The Linville Road sure does wind

Rhododendrons are like good intentions

They ease a worried mind

Silent splendor is all around

Quiet magic when the sun goes down

 

I never doubt Mother Nature

Or a peaceful feeling deep within

In the trees I hear that cool breeze 

Blowing me back again
